STEPHANIE MILLER HEADLINES US EMBASSY TALK RADIO PANEL IN LONDON

LOS ANGELES, CA (July 14, 2008) - National media personality Stephanie Miller is in Europe to headline a panel discussion concerning the potential impact of talk radio programs on the American electoral process.
"Politics & Pundits - The Influence of Talk Media on Elections and Democracy" is being presented at the United States Embassy in London this week, according to US state department sources. The event is organized by the Cultural Affairs section of U.S. Embassy, London , in partnership with YouGovStone and media partner, the Financial Times. The event will take place on July 16 from 6:00 p.m. 1800, GMT , 2PM ET, 11AM PT) in the auditorium of the U.S. Embassy, 24 Grosvenor Square , London , W1.
The program will be webcast live on the internet via the websites of the Financial Times: (www.ft.com/usdiscussion) and the U.S. Embassy: (http://london.usembassy.gov/webtv/). The panel will take questions submitted by internet viewers.
While in the United Kingdom , Stephanie Miller will broadcast live from London and Dublin to her nationally distributed radio talk audience.
This is the second of a three-event series examining social trends and issues related to the 2008 U.S. elections, as well as comparing what is happening in the U.S. with trends in these same areas in the UK.
U.S. Ambassador Robert Tuttle to Great Britain will provide the introduction.
